The Hot Stove League is in full swing, and our local nine needs a third baseman, and/or some general power hitters. So what's the big news on the team
website this morning?
Why of course it's a new uniform! Looks just like the old one, only sleeveless! And just in time for the holiday buying season!
Puke.
And of course this isn't replacing any of the other jerseys, it's just another combination that the team can wear. You know, like the "old-school" home caps
that they only wear on Sunday day games? What the hell are we, the Arizona Diamondbacks all of a sudden?
This is the one and only time you will hear me praise the New York Yankees in this space. They have two uniforms - one for home, one for away. They have
one hat. That's it, and that's how it should be.
On top of all that, man are sleeveless jerseys dumb. Seriously.
So bah humbug to the Twins for this idea.
