A Lament for a Monday
I used to be able to go to work dressed like this:
And I assure you, neither my credibility, nor my productivity, took a hit.
I'll grant you, there's something to be said for dressing well, especially when your job is something like an international businessman, or an NBA athlete.
I enjoy looking good when I leave the house in the morning, sure. But then there are days when I'm choking from shirt or tie that doesn't quite fit right, and
I see the lady down the hall wearing a matching lime green sweatsuit, and it's just too much. I miss the days of going to work in the old standby comfort
hoodie. Typically, those are Mondays. Like today.
