McNuggets
- Alex
So I read that McDonald's is going to start putting nutritional information directly
on their food packaging. Personally I think this is a great idea. If you're a person who's going to be inclined to eat there less when confronted by the sheer
amount of crap you're putting into your body, this'll be a win for you. If you're the kind of person who gets fat, claims ignorance, and sues, this'll be a lose
for you. So everybody wins.
Just out of curiosity, though, I went and did a little recon on the info at the McD's
website. It's really pretty much what you'd expect, with only a few notable exceptions.
One is the triple thick shake. 1160 calories? Yikes. No thanks.
The other one, though, is the Chicken Selects. I'd been given the impression via their ads that the selects were their more healthy offering. Not so. In fact,
the old-school McNuggets come in healthier across the board. And if you're gonna tell me that there's a taste difference, then what are you doing eating at
McDonald's?
So there you have it, McNuggets. That's all.
