Yes, yes, I've been a bad gambiter lately. A thousand lashes with a wet noodle and all of that. My Thursday schedule features an 8-5 meeting, so you won't be getting much of substance from me today, either. Duty calls. I guess.

Awww. Isn't it great how the skin industry is getting behind the relief effort? Actually, I suppose it's a nice gesture, all in all. I'm guessing the waived cover charge, and reduced prices for drinks and "private dances" (Tina Turner?), the cost of going is a fraction of what it normally is. And I suppose those places make a monster profit margin on normal days, so they can afford to do something like this.
But now I know why Bill Clinton is so involved in rebuilding New Orleans. :)
