Today's cop-out of a Gambit is brought to you by my continued sucktacular work life. Thought I'd spice up the usual list of search hits for our site with the addition of what we fondly refer to as "the jerk report". In the past, this was the list of folks who tried to skimp on bandwidth by just linking to our pictures, which we'd then try to combat by switching the pictures in question to things like this or this. So that was fun. But now we've blocked remote linking entirely, meaning the jerk report now just consists of people who have tried to steal our stuff and are rewarded with a failed image load to show for it. People like this person, who apparently thinks she's either Alex Bledel or Lily Potter. Not sure, and don't want to hurt my brain by reading more closely. Or the person who posted here and tried to steal wadE's cliffhangers picture. Or this guy, who amongst his other glaring problems tried to steal a picture of Law and Order SVU.

There you have it, today's jerk report.

As for the site hits, here they are in no particular order, and leaving out the ever-present hits for Sue Bird and Barney Fife:

bernie brewer
Everyone loves America's favorite sudsy mascot.

planning a bar crawl
I'm not sure we should be the role models, but we've certainly published a lot of information on the subject.

techmo
No word on whether or not it was Mike Pagel doing the searching.

shirtless johnny depp
Only because I put in a spacer image of a shirtless Emilio Estevez in my review of Secret Window. Hope they enjoyed that as much as I enjoyed that movie.

cupcakes
Seriously. You have no idea how many hits we get for cupcakes, and cupcakes with sprinkles, and pictures of cupcakes, etc. I think this is right up there with pictures of tim spooneybarger as one of our most inexplicable search hits.

Well. Yeah. Not a lot of substance, and I apologize for that. Maybe next time...
