Oh, you'll pay
- Alex
You know what I'm sick of? (Besides pants, of course.)
I'm sick of this complete and total Bird Shirt that they're calling "Employee Pricing Discount". It started out with car companies - Ford,
Chevy -
Chrysler even trotted out Snoop Dog to fo shizzle their otherwise rage-inducing ad campaign.
Hell, even Menards is in on the game.
It's crap. I think the car companies do it because they can only have so many "sales" per year, and this qualifies as an "event" instead. Something like that.
But if it goes over well enough that other companies mimic it, I may have to strangle someone. It's not like you're even getting that much of a deal.
Then again, I don't think SP should be left in the dust on this. So I'm announcing the inagural Simpleprop Employee pricing event. You pay what I pay. Here's
how it works: You walk into the store of your choice, and when the salesperson offers you the extras package and the extended warranty, you take it. We're all
suckers here at SP, and I think that you all should be too.
What do you think? Drop us a line at webmaster@simpleprop.com and give us some
feedback. Maybe we'll even run your letters in future Gambits. 'The Daily Gambit' is updated every weekday.
