World Blogging
- Alex
Since I'm holding down the fort in SP-Land while my co-editors are travelling, I thought it a good opportunity to talk even more travel.
My friends Becca and Brian are in the middle of doing something wholly un-american. They're foregoing an entire year of income, and choosing to travel the
world while they're young, and can still enjoy it. And they call themselves members of an ownership society. Pah.
All sarcasm aside, though, this is actually a really cool deal for them. For those of us who are still tethered to our desks, they've set up both a
blog and a corresponding Flickr photostream so we can
follow along and just generally live vicariously through them. It's cool.
With that in mind, I'm going to focus on three pictures that I found in the photostream, because frankly they're fantastic:
Exhibit A finds Brian riding a wooden carved duck. The rabbit appears to be most interested in him.
Exhibit B is a see-saw from what I can only assume is the same park. The question is, was the witch at some point holding a broom? Or is she just symbolically
holding the see-saw?
Exhibit C... yeah. I'm thinking that I need to write a horror movie screenplay set in this park. It'd be a sweet location at night.
Alright, I'm out. Happy Friday!
