So the deal is that the military is outsourcing the creation of a database to track potential
high school recruits. The outsource piece is significant because the military is strictly prohibited
from doing this, but there's nothing on the books saying they can't have a private firm do the
work for them!
I just love the Shrub regime. Not that previous administrations (both Dems and Repubs) haven't
done sneaky stuff themsevles, but this group seems to have a goal of making Big Brother a reality.
You know, that last sentence just guarentees that I'm gonna get his for people looking for
the TV show Big Brother... ah well...
The best part for me is that the military is keeping track of ethnicity in this database. I can't
think of one "good" reason for them to have that info.
At any rate, sorry about the recent lull in gambiterization. As always, you get what you pay for.
