SWIII: ROTS
- wadE
Alex and I did not wait in line last night to see Revenge of the Sith at midnight. After seeing
the previous two movies on opening day, I wasn't about to put myself through that to see a sub-par
movie again.
However, all signs point to this moving being what the first two should have been... "good"!
I think the best review of all the Star Wars movies I've read was that back in the 70s, Lucas was still a
relative unknown, and he was open to others' writings and suggestions (writers and actors). In the
last three movies he wrote all of it and his word was law. Lucas is not a screenwriter. He's an
idea man, and an FX genius. While his dialogue has tainted the last couple of movies, I'm hoping
(and hearing it's true) that he's learned from that, and the last movie somewhat makes up for it.
While I'm looking forward to seeing it, there's no rush. I didn't need to see people dressed up
having lightsaber battles at 11:45 last night. :-)
If you've seen the movie, head out to the forum
