"These Are A Few Of My Favorite, um, Words..."

Oddly, the topic of favorite words has come up several times over the past couple of weeks. Us rubes in IT aren't necessarily known for our prowess with prose, but I've always been a bit of a word wonk, going back to my brief fling with the English major back at Olaf.
(See? Replace that last "the" with an "an" and the sentence is totally different. Aren't words nifty?)
Anyway, it's Friday, the day of laziness. Hence, from the home office in Chevy Chase, Maryland, my top ten favorite words. (In no particular order. That's like picking a favorite toe.)
- Divvy
- Munge
- Warble
- Ne'er-do-well
- Parallel
- Kittywampus
- Kowtow
- Marmalade
- Atavistic
- Parse
A couple of those I get to use on a regular basis-- others I need to find more subtle ways to include in casual or work conversation.
