Bought and Sold

Bought and sold... but not in that order.
I'm pleased to announce that Chelle and I won't be homeless by the end of May.
That's right, I bought a house...and I couldn't be more excited.
Awww, isn't she cute?
Why did I put up a drawing of the house? Because it's actually not done yet!
It came as quite a shock to us too, since we started out looking at 50s ramblers that
needed a ton of updating; and then looked at 1980s/90s houses that had more modern layouts.
But new construction was not what we were expecting at all!
We've come in right at the point of putting up the sheetrock and starting to make those very
imporant interior decisions. So while I'm relieved that I won't be homeless, that has been
replaced with the stress and scrambling to make the decisions that come along with building a home.
