So go read this.
Wow, what a story. Do I smell a film there? Oh... sorry, that must be the breakfast burrito
I had this morning. Seriously though, I was under the assumption that Schmeling was a tool of the
Nazis. It's a real fascinating story. On a morbid note, Max's passing gives Jessica a whopping 1
point in the Dead Pool.
Or how about this?
I heard a little bit about this the other morning on KFAN. The Superstar and Mark Rosen were
talking about Culpepper stealing something from a kid in a wheelchair. I've pretty much sworn off
KFAN in the morning at this point and am on a quest for a new radio station to listen to in the
morning. 100.9 KOWZ might be the new winner. I checked it out this morning and it was this
absolutely horrible local morning show, "The Morning Moo Crew Show". It's everything you could
possibly ask for in a outstate Minnesota morning show. Imagine if you will a bad comedy skit that
lampoons radio morning shows, well add Minnesota accents, and some talk about the local happenings
in Owatonna, and there you go. It's so bad, you have to check it out... anyway, where was I?
Oh yeah, so apparently
Daunte "gave" a kid in a wheelchair a necklace worth $100,000 and then took it back from him later.
WTF?!? Wouldn't you just assume if some kid in a wheelchair asked "can I have some ice" that he meant
he'd like to wear it to see how it felt? How could they possibly assume Daunte was actually giving
them jewelry? This is the type of things that happen to people that make them no longer be nice.
Once bitten, twice shy...
<insert Great White joke here>
And how about this?
Would Condi Rice have actually said if an attack on Iran was going to happen? Talk about giving
away the element of surprise! Although I'll give her points for honesty in her confirmation
hearing: At her Senate confirmation hearings last month, Rice said the United States wants
"a regime in Iran that is responsive to concerns that we have about Iran's policies, which are
180 degrees" antithetical to America's interests.
Welcome to the New Empire of the United States of America! Full steam ahead on our plans for
nation building! At least the Army will save money on transportation when the troops move from Iraq
to Iran.
:-\
Lastly, it wouldn't be a gambit news day without mention of the Super Bowl. There... I've mentioned
it. Enjoy your weekend!
