Today is one of those days where I both love and hate my job. The hate part will be quickly glossed over by merely saying that the lateness of today's
Gambit is wholly due to my actually having to work (and disassemble things with tiny screws in them).

New Apple products!
Actually this is some of the biggest news to come out of Cupertino in a long, long time. Namely, the sub-$500 Apple. Looks like they're entering the
PC price war business... and with style. Check it out:

It's clear that this product is aimed at folks who are Windows users, who've bought and loved an iPod, and want something to go along with it. Well, this
is definitely it. Buy it, and especially if you've got a USB keyboard, just chuck your Windows tower, and plug everything (even your monitor) into this instead.
Not a bad deal at all.
Oh, and speaking of the iPod, there's a new flash-based one out:
Starting at $99.
