Bark Bark Bark

As I settled into my seat on the airplane last Thursday, I opened my
book and began to read. Then it happened...
Bark...Bark...Bark... everyone turning and looking at me... because
below my seat was my dog

happy about being stuck in a small piece of carry-on luggage.
Thankfully Chelle was also there and quickly took her shoe off and put
her foot inside the carrier to soothe the savage beast... but I had a
quick glimpse into what it's like for people to travel with small
children. That moment of horror when you realize there's annoying
noise being caused by your carry-on...and there isn't much you can do.
After a couple more barks, there wasn't another peep out of the dog, so
that was good.
But we still have to make the trip back home next monday... morning...
early.
