So I just read this.
Spurrier could be a Gamecock... replacing Lou Holtz... it doesn't get much more poetic than that.
I personally enjoyed Spurrier's brief fling with the NFL. A coach with a penchant for running up
the score on overmatched teams with that smug look on his face got pummelled in the NFL. His
coaching decisions stunk, his player personnel decisions stunk, his system stunk.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
On a totally different note... we just moved to Windows XP here at work and the machines are under
total lock down... to the point where I can't even update SP... so I'll have to send this to Alex
or something.
Couple that with going on vacation for Thanksgiving... I might just see you all in December!
