Never before in the game of professional baseball has a team come back from 0-3 in a
best of seven playoff...until last night.
Not even the Boston faithful (read: Sports Guy) would have predicted this. In fact,
he had written the team off... he even left Fenway early! Everyone did.
How do you root for two teams you don't like? Do you root for Boston to win so they
can finally shut up about the curse? And I don't care what they say, I've seen enough
"Reverse The Curse" shirts this post season to know that they think about every single moment.
Do you root for the Yankees (eek!) so Boston can continue to wallow in agony when they
have a payroll over twice that of the Twins?
I don't know... all I know is that after 100+ years of baseball, we haven't seen it
all. But tonight we will.
Can the Red Sox join the '42 Maple Leafs as the only team in professional sports to come
back and win a championship?
If so, will Bill Buckner finally come out of hiding in Idaho?
Will Bucky F****** Dent finally drop his vulgar middle name?
Has Curt Schilling become a first-ballot Hall of Famer?
Will Yankee fans again throw debris on the field? (yeah, classy fans in NY)
Will Torre be gone?
Will Steinbrenner drop dead?
And how many Sox fans will drop dead?
