Black Monday...almost

Yeah, I'm well aware that I didn't put up a gambit on friday. I did warn people that it would be up sometime after 2PM... unfortunately I forgot I had another meeting that day that started at 2...which went longer than an hour and a half. So after that finally wrapped up my focus was getting out of work... not the gambit.

So apologies all around for those who needed their gambit fix, and didn't get it. I put myself before all of you... and I promise I will never... EVER... put the gambit before my sanity... so expect more of the same in future.

With that being said, one of the reason I was in a rush to get out is so I could prep for the big Twins v. Yankees game. Well we all know how that turned out. But Saturday would be a new day!

So I watched the Gophers beat up on the Wolverines...just to see them let Mich. come back and win in the 4th quarter.

So I watched the Twins take the lead... only to see the Yankees come back and win. (not to second guess too much, but why not leave Balfour in? he was just crushing the yankee hitters)

So on Sunday I watched the Vikings offensive machine take a 21-0 lead. Only to see Houston (Houston!?!?) come back to tie the game and send it to overtime. At this point I had just about had enough. For most of the second half I was switching channels, just catching bits and pieces of the Vikings game... I couldn't take watching another defeat clutched from the jaws of victory. Once it got to overtime I was even more nervous...even if the Vikings won, I wasn't going to enjoy it.

As you know, the did. And like I said, I didn't enjoy it. But it did keep today from being the blackest Monday in a long time here in MN.
