Not to Worry

I know that it hasn't even been two weeks since I stated that this site would not become frequent
with breaking news, but I said nothing... NOTHING... about horrible puns.
So.
Yes I am aware that Sue Bird broke her nose last night in a playoff game (duh, I was watching it live). No need to worry, or send me updates, or any such
things. All will be well. In fact, in a show of solidarity, I'd like to offer up the
following factual statements: Sue with a broken nose - still good. Sue with the shiner that goes along with the broken nose - still very cute. Is Sue gonna
kick ass in the second round of the playoffs this weekend wearing an old school Willie-Burton-style broken nose mask? Yeah, baby. (Note: It'll probably be one
of those new school Rip-Hamilton-style masks. Stupid medical advances. Although I suppose those UConn alums gotta stick together...)
In conclusion, I'd just like to say: Sue. Still good. Thank you.

In other news... Jake and I are going to the Alter Bridge show tonight. I have to say, I'm pretty damn excited. There probably won't be a review since I
already covered their CD, but if it's a slow Gambit day on Friday who knows.
Actually, that reminds me of the time Jake broke his nose... it was one of those entertainingly funny athletic knocked-out-on-his-feet escapades... like the
time Butch Husky ran into the wall at the Metrodome. Have him tell it to you sometime. Heh.
