The rest of the gambit will focus on what I thought was an issue that only I was having.
A few months ago Yahoo Mail upgraded and has a bunch of handy-dandy new features, which
are great, don't get me wrong. But along with the upgrade has come a new login page.
Those of you with a Yahoo account know what I mean, the blue one, with that same woman
on it every time. See here.
Anyway, ever since that new screen came up, I apparenly mistype my password probably
2 out of every 3 attemps. When it first started happening I thought that someone may
have hacked in to Yahoo and put that page up to capture everyone's login, which would then
dump you right to the old login page. But I figured that was a bit of a stretch.
However, I kept having the same problem. I even started to type my password one letter
at a time, which seemed to work. But I even had two instances where that came up as an
invalid password. With the amount of times it was working seeming to increase, I just
assumed I was getting sloppy with my password.
But that all changed when yesterday I watched Chelle log in and notice the same thing
happen to her... invalid password. So I asked her if that happened often, and she said
it did. So I'm wondering... has anyone else had this problem?
