Too busy...

I've spent my entire day up until 5 minutes ago in meetings. So I've got a big fat
nothing for the gambit.
So I'll quickly touch on last
Friday's gambit
about my class reunion.
As expected it was fairly clique-y, if that's a word. It was a relatively poor turnout
(about 45 students and 25 "dates" out of 230 graduates). Sadly enough there were people
who live in Austin who found out about the reunion the day before. These people are
listed in the phone book, I'm not sure how the organizers couldn't find them.
In my opinion what they did was call up those people they still stay in contact with,
and anyone who had signed up and replied to an email sent out via classmates.com.
That's pretty half-assed if you ask me, but then again, it's about what I expect from
the people I went to high school with.
A few people were fat, a few were pregnant, and a few were doing nothing with their
lives. Sounds like a perfect situation for me to show up and look really good... but
I honestly didn't care. Which I'm very happy about.
:-)
