Every so often you come across a story online that you think just has to be fake somehow. I think that this story officially qualifies:

Ok, so first of all, a senate nominee named Jack Ryan? Are you kidding me? Is this some sort of Tom Clancy publicity ploy? Does he look
like the fat Baldwin, or Han Solo? Enquiring minds want to know!
Second... for some reason that name Jeri Ryan was ringing a bell when I first read it. Sure enough, she was that Star Trek diva, and later I think
she was on Boston Public. I think. In any case, imagine if you were in that club in NYC and noticed her. Would you believe it? I'm not sure I'd
trust my own eyes in that case. "Hey! I think that's... nah, can't be."
Weird. Just weird. I like how they throw in that Shrub will be staying away from Illinois during the elections because of this. Right. This
is a far more touchy situation than starting a war on false pretenses...
