Power Trip Morning Show

Now that I'm back in the working world, I've gone back to my usual habit of listening
to KFAN on my drive into work. For a long time I was a KQ morning show guy, then when
Howard Stern was in this market, I listened to him, but then Wade got me hooked on KFAN.
I'm still too new here to attempt to listen to the streaming audio, so the only time
I get now to listen is drive-time. However after 1 week of the morning show on KFAN
starring former Vikings long-snapper Mike Morris, I can't do it anymore.
The show has suddenly become a commerical for what a great job George W. Bush has done
and boy, he should be re-elected!
Oh, and if you write or call in to disagree, you are anti-America, anti- our troops,
and an idiot.
While most of the hosts on KFAN tend to be conservative (with Dan Cole being the exception),
most of them are fairly even-handed and objective when it comes to criticizing both
parties, or for PA and Dubay, just ignore the whole thing and only talk about sports.
What I can't stand is the blind jingoism Morris and co. exhort. As presidents go, W.
should sit somewher above Herbert Hoover and below Millard Fillmore. He isn't doing a
great job, he shouldn't be praised, and above all, he shouldn't be re-elected.
But that's just one informed person's opinion.
