Tax Day is right around the corner...in fact, it's tomorrow. I got hammered by the IRS this year, so I'm
holding off until the last minute to send my check in.
While I am on the verge of being a bleeding heart liberal, it's hard to swallow a 4 digit tax bill. I'd like
to believe that my tax dollars are hard at work...and maybe if I owed the State of Minnesota money, I could
feel that I had more of an idea of where that money might be going...but no. I owe it all to the federal
government.
Maybe I'm a liberal federalist...is there a such thing?
At any rate I'm turning into the classic older man who gets grumpy right around April 15th...and it's not fun.
On this Tax Day Eve I wish all of your moderate sized returns (b/c there is nothing worse than having to pay
taxes on your tax return because it's "income").... fuckers!
