Today marked the national debut of Air America's "O'Franken Factor." At the very last minute a deal was
made with local AM station WMNN (1330 AM) to broadcast the St. Louis Park graduate and one of my favorite
comedians/authors Al Franken, and his co-host, former MPR "Midmorning" host Katherine Lanpher.
Franken's time slot is directly up against Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura, and locally Dan "The Common Man" Cole,
who is one of the few liberals on radio not on NPR.
If you are not in a city broadcasting Air America, check out www.airamericaradio.com. The website is no frills for the time being,
but they do offer free streaming.
