SHANK IT, FREEEEAK!!

This story caught my eye this morning. In case you don't want to read it, a summary: Davis Love III was leading Tiger Woods yesterday in the Match Play championship yesterday afternoon. (By the way, I understand the concept of Match Play but not the scoring. One up? Three and two?) A heckler yelled a couple of things, apparently shaking Love's concentration, and was tossed out after Love said he wouldn't continue. Incidentally, the heckler was wearing a Tiger Woods cap. Discuss.
Afterwards, Love said that the heckler was "just another one of those fans that doesn't respect the game." I understand, and agree. I'm a fairly bad golfer, so my tee shot would be horrible even if the University of Michigan band was playing the Wolverine rouser behind me. But I understand that a professional golfer might have different requirements, one of which is silence.
My question... why is a Woods fan yelling during Love's putt being disrespectful, while a Wolves fan yelling while Shaq shoots a free through is just a good fan? I'd argue both acts require concentration... why does a golfer / tennis player "merit" quiet when concentration is needed, while a basketball player / kicker / goalie should expect screams and taunts when the same concentration is needed? Is it venue-related? Or the pedigree of the sport itself?
Me? I prefer streakers.
