So Jake loaned me the book Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs: A Low Culture Manifesto, by Chuck Klosterman over the weekend.

this book, as it's a collection of short essays that are easy to read. wadE and Wade would really like the stuff about 'The Real World'
and 'Saved by the Bell', while I'm more interested by his take on how Lakers people are different from Celtics people (a take off on the
classic Beatles vs Elvis debate)... In any case, it's worth a read.
Every once in a while a random headline just grabs my attention and I can't help but click on it. Here's today's:
Amelia Earhart's Gravesite Found?
I don't know why this particular story fascinates me... it just does. Maybe it's the mystery that no one knows what happened to her
almost 70 years after the fact, and that people are still looking.
I also happened to notice that Viggo Mortensen (star of the Lord of the Rings movies) is 45 today, and I really didn't think
he was that old. Then again, I probably wouldn't have pegged Harrison Ford for 35 in Star Wars either, so what do I know?
Finally, I got an email this morning from the "Tooth Fairy". Those bastard spammers, I thought I was gonna finally cash in on
all those years of losing teeth in my childhood...
