Stupid Laptop

I recently was blessed with a brand new laptop from my company. Upgrading from Compaq
Armada 7400, to a brand spanking new Dell Latitude (insert your own "Dude, you're gettin'
a Dell" joke here).
If you aren't familiar with laptops, or PC hardware in general, you'll just have to trust
me that the Compaq was the equivalent of driving a Geo Metro...from the early 90's. It'll
get you where you need to go, but not very fast, and definitely not in a stylish manner.
Unfortunately the Dell I received seems to be equivalent to a Jaguar...it's the nicest
laptop in the shop. Right now I'm having about a 50% response rate from my space bar. About
a 25% response from my "n" key. And varying degress of response from the rest of the keys
in the lower right portion of my keyboard.
So forgive me for the short gambit. My patience w/ this keyboard has completely run out.
In fact, this gambit alone took over 30 min. to type. I've gotten to the point where I'm
cutting and pasting my Ns. Arrrgh!
