Article on CNN: "Oakland antiwar protest gets ugly"
No! I can't believe that people in Oakland would get out of hand. It has such a reputation as a quiet reserved
community.
Geraldo Rivera says: "I'm sorry for breaking the rules"
He refers to getting the boot from Iraq by the pentagon for him drawing troop movements in the sand for the TV
camaras. I genuinely believe he is sorry...because this is all Geraldo's got... if he's not on the front lines,
he's not on TV. So much for those "rats at NBC" spreading lies about him...
"Nuns convicted in missle-silo protest"
Yes, you read that correctly. Three nuns were convicted by a jury for interfering with the nation's defense
and causing property damage of more than $1,000, by defacing a missile silo by swinging hammers and painting
crosses on it with their own blood. The nuns face up to 30 years in prison.
The faces of evil!
Public Seems to Tolerate War's Death Toll
I promised myself I wouldn't get into the war...but I expect better headlines from the New York Times

Since I am a new junkie, I read all of the major news websites, but with hard-hitting reports like these, I
just might be able kick the habit...
