Thankfully It Is A Short Month

- wadE

There is no other time in the sports world like February.

We start the month off with the NFL Pro Bowl, which is just awful to watch. My favorite part of the pro bowl is the rule changes they have. For example...

On offense you must have a TE on every play. No more than 2 WRs on a side of the field either!

On defense you must play from a 4-3 defensive set. No 5 or 6 DB formations on the field (does this mean having 7 is acceptable?). And my personal favorite, no blitzing, except in short yardage situations. How ambiguous is that?

Regardless, the Pro Bowl is the least watched football game of the year... even less than a Bengals vs. Jaguars match-up.

On the same day this year was the NHL All-Star game. Thankfully the NHL abandoned their North America vs. The World format a couple years ago.

This year's game actually had some pizazz with it going to a shoot out. But let's be honest without fights and checking, who cares? I love hockey, but unless it's the playoffs, or a good rivalry, the games aren't worth watching.

Then the NBA All Star game... *yawn*...

Let's just huddle in our houses until March...
