The SuperBowl...not so super...

Ack... another year, another crappy SuperBowl. I was rooting for Oakland this year...for no particular reason really.
I supposed since TB used to be in the Vikings division, there is a little animosity there; and the likes of Warren
Sapp and Keyshawn Johnson don't help either.
At any rate, I was very surprised by the lopsided outcome. I have been spoiled by the closeness of recent SuperBowls
and had forgotten those mid-80's games (55-10 ring a bell?).
Since the SuperBowl was lackluster, I'd rather take a minute to talk about the new Jimmy Kimmel talk show that premiered
late last night.
I'm not even sure what to think about this show. I did like that they flew Warren Sapp up to LA after the game for an
interview...that was pretty cool. Having Snoop Dogg as the "co-host" was pure genius...(what executive ok-ed having a
live show w/ Snoop on?). The ABC censors kept up as best they could, but I saw more of Snoop's middle finger than I saw
of Tim Brown in the game.
George Clooney showing up with a bottle of grey goose vodka and three glasses just put me over the edge. This isn't
going to be your usual late night show. I'll have to give it a few more tries before I pass judgement, but at least
it'll be different... no, that's not a "Minnesota different".
