Most Recent Card

It's the kind of simple, stupid idea you have on a Friday afternoon.

Hey look - a lot of 400 random baseball cards on eBay. I should buy them and scan them in and make an SP article out of it.

Of course it's later, as you're going through the cards, that you realize that this isn't going to a project with universal interest, so you might as well make something else out of it.

So here's the deal:

These pages will be used by me as a mere tool to hone my writing. I've tried to fool myself via various means into writing multiple times a week. The problem that typically arises is that I don't have the energy to come up with new ideas on a constant basis. This should remedy that particular problem. I've got the material. It's all scanned in. What I'm going to do is use the cards to just write. It might be factual. It might be researched. It might be completely invented, or just plain off-topic. The plan is merely to write, and to hopefully improve as a writer.

If you're interested in reading this slop, then by all means come along. Layout will be spartan; simple. Navigation buttons will always be at the bottom of the pages. Links back to SP will be at the top. And if I hear one complaint aobut how one of the scans is poorly done and mis-aligned, you're out! They're all off. You try scanning in one-hundred-some cards without losing your sanity and see how it turns out.

All right, carry on.
